A couple of Laughlin casinos roll the dice, and one lucky player can take the house. Keys included.
Aquarius and Edgewater casinos are giving their loyalty club members a chance to win a brand new single-family home and up to $60,000 in cash. “$300,000 House & $60,000 Cash Giveaway” begins March 14th and runs through April 18th.
Jeremy Jenson, senior vice president and general manager of Aquarius and Edgewater, said this was the biggest major award he could recall in his more than two decades working for Golden Entertainment Inc., the Southern Nevada-based operator of the two Laughlin properties.
“Players who trust us with their time and loyalty deserve rewards that can change their lives,” he said. “This is our way of delivering value through life-changing campaigns.”
True Rewards members receive a virtual ticket for every 50th same-day base time. Weekly drawings will be held on Saturdays through April 11, with 10 winners at each property receiving $500 cash plus a house-sized certificate guaranteeing entry into the grand prize drawing. On April 18, 10 last chance winners will be selected at each property before the grand final draw at 18.00 on Aquarius.
The grand prize winner can choose the newly constructed 1,619-square-foot home in Montano Ridge, Bullhead City, Arizona, or take a $210,000 cash option.
Laughlin reported growth in visitor and gaming revenue last year, with annual visits up 7.3 percent to 1.4 million visitors and gaming revenue up 2.4 percent to $493.5 million.
Jenson said the promotion is designed not only to attract visitors, but to reward the properties’ existing player base.
“Aquarius and Edgewater are the leading resorts in Laughlin,” he said. “This campaign is a conscious statement about our position in the market and how seriously we take our commitment to our players.”
Golden Entertainment is transitioning from a publicly traded company to private ownership as part of a plan to sell its operating assets to Chairman and CEO Blake Sartini.
Separately, several of its casino property holdings will be sold to VICI Properties Inc., including the Strat at the north end of the Strip, the two Laughlin resorts, the Pahrump Nugget and Lakeside casino in Pahrump, and two Arizona Charlie’s casinos in Las Vegas.
