Caesars sets up shop in Summerlin.
Caesars Race & Sportsbook will celebrate its grand opening at The Resort at Summerlin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and ceremonial first game on March 3, the sportsbook confirmed.
The event, which begins at 10 a.m. in the space formerly known as the Rampart casino, will feature former Golden Knights defenseman Deryk Engelland.
There will also be a Golden Knights watch party at the new sportsbook for their 4pm game at the Buffalo Sabers with giveaways and promotional offers.
It is the first Caesars Sportsbook location to open in Summerlin.
Eric Hession, president of Caesars Digital, told the Nevada Gaming Control Board that the company plans to deploy “a significant amount of capital to upgrade the sportsbook” as well as install 20 kiosks in the casino.
