Delarose Sisters On Sustainable Luxury with eco-conscious swimwear collections

In an industry often dominated by fast fashion, London-based designers Ivana and Valentina Delarose are redefining luxury swimwear through the lens of environmental responsibility and high-fashion aesthetics. As co-founders and co-CEOs of The Delarose Sisters, the sisters have successfully combined their expertise in design, styling and sustainability to create a brand that is not only stylish and on point, but also ethically sound.

Working from their headquarters in London, Ivana and Valentina oversee all aspects of the brand’s creative and operational vision. Their role encompasses the entire lifecycle of a garment, from initial concept and research to final production.

“Together we are responsible for designing eco-conscious swimwear collections from concept to final production,” says Ivana Delarose. “Our roles include both research and resources for garment construction, fittings and pattern development. We also lead the creative direction, runway and fashion show presentations.”

The Delarose sisters have built their reputation on a foundation of sustainable innovation. The brand specializes in sculpting silhouettes produced in small series using regenerated fabrics, including materials derived from recycled ocean plastic. Their manufacturing process is primarily carried out in a solar-powered facility, which minimizes the brand’s carbon footprint.

This commitment to the environment is woven into the fabric of their new Oh My Cherry Collection, released on January 26, 2026. This spring/summer 2026 line continues its tradition of using eco-friendly fabrics and non-toxic dyes without compromising on style.

“We’ve always primarily focused on swimwear and swimwear but this year we’ll be launching an eveningwear release with a more beach-to-bar feel,” says Valentina Delarose. “This will be done in the same deliberate way … Our brand is perfect to pack in your suitcase when you travel to the tropics, the Caribbean or just a weekend away in the summer.”

The brand’s unique blend of creativity and sustainability has gained significant international recognition. A major career highlight was their selection to participate in Miami Swim Week 2025. Out of thousands of applicants, The Delarose Sisters were among only 100 designers selected to participate in 50 runway shows.

The event was a huge success, attracting an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 industry professionals from over 60 countries. The brand’s landing presentation generated over 200 million organic views on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, significantly expanding their reach into the US and Latin American markets.

Overall, Miami Swim Week 2025 generated an estimated $75 million in economic impact, with The Delarose Sisters contributing to the event’s massive digital footprint, which ranges between 1.6 billion to 6.2 billion media impressions annually. Over the past six years, The Delarose Sisters have become a leader in sustainable luxury swimwear.

Both have a background in the fashion industry; Ivana Delarose is a respected fashion writer and contributor to prominent publications such as Grazia, Cosmopolitan and Esquire, providing expert commentary on trends and sustainability, while Valentina Delarose is a graduate of the prestigious Fashion Retail Academy in London and has honed her skills as a stylist and creative director, including a project with Gary Jamesne McQueewenen, the late Alexander McQueenen.

Beyond the visual appeal of their designs, The Delarose Sisters give their brand a distinct musical identity. Both Ivana and Valentina are established DJs in Europe, a passion that influences their creative direction.

“The island of Ibiza was definitely a big inspiration behind the tracks used on the course as well as our brand aesthetic in general,” said Ivana Delarose.

Their go-to music is a ‘chilled deep house mix’, a sound they’ve brought to venues across London, Dubai and Ibiza, including yacht parties and members’ clubs. This musical inspiration was a key component of their Miami Swim Week soundtrack, creating an immersive take-off and landing experience for the audience.

Stay tuned for their Miami Swim Week 2026 showcase this summer.
