SOMBR returns with new single “Homewrecker”

After a breakthrough 2025 that saw him earn three Billboard Hot 100 entries, release his debut album and land his first GRAMMY nomination, SHADOW returned Friday (February 6) with “domestic criminal”his first new song and music video of the year.

Framed as a stark, slow-burn confession “back to friends” the singer leans into emotional wreckage instead of avoiding it, using the heartbreaking track to appeal to a love interest who remains emotionally unavailable.

Participating Quenlin Blackwell and Milo Mannheimthe singles accompanying the music video – directed by Gus Black (Phoebe Bridgers, Laufeny) – matches the same storyline, with SOMBR in a love triangle with Blackwell and Manheim in the western-themed visual.

As the cinematic clip unfolds, viewers see tensions rise and the lines between make-believe and real life blur – leading to a “high dinner style” western settlement.
