The cast has been announced for the European premiere of The Jonathan Larson Project, which opens at London’s Southwark Playhouse Borough in July.

The Jonathan Larson Project revolves around a young man who follows his heart in New York City and tries to change the world. It features songs from some of Jonathan’s unproduced shows, incl 1984 and Prideas well as songs that were cut from Rent and tick, tick…BOOM!and more.

Speaking about the production, Jonathan Larson’s family said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to bring Jonathan’s lesser-known music to a UK audience. His spirit is very much alive in all these songs and although written a long time ago, the work is still more relevant now than ever.”
