Pop icon Peter Andre is celebrating a huge milestone this year – 30 years since he made his breakthrough in the music business!
To mark this momentous occasion, the artist has released a brand new single called ‘Rock U Right’, taken from his upcoming album HERITAGE. The single received its exclusive first play on the Scott Mills breakfast show and is a groove-induced offering penned by Peter to ignite the entire project.
With nostalgic energy and influences drawn from the music that inspired him as a young artist, the song sets the tone for the album’s concept: honoring where he’s been while celebrating where he is now.
Released on April 10, HERITAGE is a 13-track album celebrating some of his most iconic hits spanning three decades. However, this is more than just your average greatest hits album. HERITAGE sees Peter sing, reimagine and remaster 10 of his biggest hits, including three former No.1s. In Peter’s own words, they will be presented “the way I always heard them in my head when I first wrote them.”
The album will also feature three new tracks: ‘Rock U Right’, ‘Close To You’ with Oritsè Williams (a new reworking of the Maxi Priest classic with modern production) and ‘Island Girl’ with Lady Leshurr. The album also sees appearances from a host of other artists, each a musician who has shared history, scenes and stories with Peter over the years. These include Montell Jordan, Brian McKnight, Kenny Thomas and Bubbla Ranx.
