Harry Styles Announces New Single ‘Aperture’ From Upcoming Album

Harry Styles have confirmed the release of their new single “Opening,” set to arrive on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET., marks the first official release from his upcoming fourth studio album, Kiss all the time. Disco, sometimes. The announcement came via Instagram, where Styles shared a studio photo alongside the caption confirming the track’s midnight release in the UK.

“Aperture” opens the launch of an album slated for release on March 6, ending a gap of nearly three years since Harry’s house reshaped his solo career in 2022. That album produced chart-topping singles like “As It Was” and earned major Grammy wins, including Album of the year. The new project signals a new chapter while maintaining continuity with longtime collaborator Kid Harpoon, who returns as executive producer after working with Styles on several albums.

While Harry Styles has been closely guarding musical details, the single’s title has already sparked conversation. An aperture controls how light enters a camera lens, an apt metaphor given the visual cues Styles has created in recent weeks. Posters bearing the phrase “We Belong Together” (WeBelongTogether.co) appeared in cities such as New York and Berlin, while a new website invited fans to a slow reveal rather than a traditional marketing push.

The album will feature 12 tracks and represents Styles’ first major release since the end of his two-year Love On Tour, which concluded in 2023 after playing sold-out venues worldwide. That tour cemented his place as one of pop’s most enduring live acts and reset expectations for how former boy band artists develop at scale.

With “Aperture,” Styles steps back into the spotlight on his own terms, opening the lens just enough to signal where his next creative era might lead. Fans can pre-order the limited edition vinyl and CD, exclusive merchandise, box set and more on Styles’ official website here.
