Six the Musical unveils new West End queens

They are doing Her story! Global sensation Sex the Musical has confirmed the new cast of queens who will reign in the West End from February 24.

The cast will consist of some familiar faces along with some fresh new talent. Adrianne Langley (Titanic) will play Catherine of Aragon, with Marisha Morgan (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) as Anne Boleyn, Jessica Aubrey (Evil) as Jane Seymour and Freya Karlettis (The Lion King) as Anne of Cleves. Previous Six queen and Why am I so single? star Leesa Tulley returns as Katherine Howard, while Nia Stephen (&Juliet UK Tour) will make her West End debut as Catherine Parr.

They will be joined by Tegan Bannister as Alternate Aragon/Cleves, Mary Elliott as Alternate Boleyn/Howard and Ashlyn Weekes as Alternate Seymour/Parr. Laura Baxter continues as Super Swing from the 2025 cast, alongside Gabs Boumford and Imogen Rose Hart.

The Ladies in Waiting, the house band, consists of Beth Jerem as musical director/keyboards, Alice Angliss on drums, Emma Jemima on guitar, Kelly Morris on bass and Annabelle Lee Revak as assistant musical director.

Created by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, Sex the Musical tells the story of Henry VIII’s six wives, and is a modern retelling through a singing competition between each queen. The show sees each of the wives explain why they suffered the most at the hands of Henry, with the aim of reclaiming their history. The hit musical continues to enjoy success globally, with fans able to enjoy the show in the West End, across the UK, on ​​Broadway and in North America, Australia and Germany throughout 2026.

Sex the Musical also announced an extension today and is now on sale through January 2027 at the Vaudeville Theatre.
