Pixie Lott releases tender new holiday single in honor of her newborn son's first Christmas

Pixie Lott ushers in the holiday season with a quietly moving new release, revealing “First Christmas” – a festive single written in celebration of her newborn son and the milestone of his first holiday.

The track – her first major release since welcoming her second child with husband Oliver Cheshire – thinks Pixie leans towards warm, understated production and intimate lyricism. Instead of chasing a glossy pop moment, she delivers something more personal: a soft-focus reflection on new parenthood, nostalgia and the emotional weight of seeing Christmas through the eyes of an infant.

More than a seasonal single, “First Christmas” serves as a love letter to new life and the quiet magic that comes with it during the brightest stretch of the year. With nothing but piano beneath her, Lott’s voice effortlessly carries the track – a reminder of her natural warmth and clarity, delivered here with disarming intimacy.

Never one to shy away or downplay her love for Christmas, Pixie says of the song: “So excited for my baby’s first Christmas and to share it with our Albert and the whole family. So many special moments to cherish forever, where he’ll never be that little again! I’m so excited for all the magical memories we’re going to make this year and want them to last forever!”

To coincide with the single release, Pixie will play a very special headline show at London’s Union Chapel on Wednesday 17th December. The gig, just over a week before Christmas, will see the singer play a selection of her greatest hits and new songs as well as festive favourites.

Tickets are now on sale as a family friendly, festive occasion, suitable for ALL ages.

Speaking about the show, Pixie adds: “Christmas is my favorite time of the year, I love it and I just can’t wait to get all festive! I’m so excited to be doing my first Christmas show, I can’t believe I haven’t done one before and there’s nowhere better than the beautiful Union Chapel. It’s for all ages and I’ll be performing all the songs you know, some new ones, of course there’ll be some Christmas presents and I’ll also be performing some Christmas classics and I can’t wait to see you all there, it’s going to be so much fun this is my baby’s first Christmas, my first headline at the most magical time of the year, my first Christmas song, and I’m in my first Christmas movie to say I’m excited.”

Away from the music, Lott will appear in the new Christmas movie Christmas karmaalong with an all star cast including Kunal Nayyar, Eva Longoria, Billy Porter, Danny Dyer, Leo Suter, Charithra Chandran, Hugh Bonneville and Boy George. The film is now in theaters worldwide.
