Nitto ATP final draw 2025

Defending champion Jannik Sinner and top seed Carlos Alcaraz learned their fate in the group stages on Thursday in Turin ahead of play starting on Sunday 9 November at the Inalpi Arena.

Sinner headlines the Björn Borg Group, which also includes Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton and Felix Auger-Aliassime (or Lorenzo Musetti, if the Italian wins the Athens title this week to secure the final spot).

The Italian returns to Turin as defending champion after a flawless 2024 campaign, sweeping through the field unbeaten to lift the biggest title of his career on home soil. Having also reached the final in 2023, Sinner will once again look to feed the partisan crowd and cement their indoor dominance.

Top seed Carlos Alcaraz leads the Jimmy Connors Group alongside Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur. Competing at this year’s Finals for the third consecutive year, the Spaniard is chasing his first ATP Finals title after reaching the semi-finals in 2023.

Three of this year’s eight singles competitors have previously lifted the trophy: Djokovic, a record seven-time champion; Zverev, who won in 2018 and 2021; and Sinner, last year’s winner.

Based on what we’ve seen from Jannik during Vienna and Paris, it’s hard to look past the Italian winning back-to-back finals.

And finally, will Novak play? Italian tennis chief Angelo Binaghi claimed earlier this week that the Serb had confirmed his participation, but Novak dismissed those claims just a day later.

Instead, he stated that he will decide whether to play at the year-end event after the conclusion of his campaign at the ongoing Hellenic Championship in Athens, Greece.

Doubles draw

Not that anyone really cares, but the double field was also confirmed on Thursday. Top seeds Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool lead the Peter Fleming Group, along with Marcel Granollers / Horacio Zeballos, Kevin Krawietz / Tim Puetz and Simone Bolelli / Andrea Vavassori.

Second seeds Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten lead the John McEnroe Group, which also includes Marcelo Arevalo / Mate Pavic, Joe Salisbury / Neal Skupski and Christian Harrison / Evan King.

Krawietz and Puetz return as the defending champions, while Cash/Glasspool, Salisbury/Skupski and Harrison/King all make their team debuts.

If they put doubles after singles, how many people do you think would stick around and watch? 😁
