Rose Grey

The extended record brings a new sense of life to Gray’s euphoric mix of dance, club and Brit-pop energy. Alongside fan favorites from the original release, the updated tracklist features three brand new songs – including the shimmering single‘s april’ and the hypnotic ‘Lotus’ – and new track “I don’t speak French”which debuted on Rose’s recent sold-out UK and EU headline tour (which included two euphoric nights at London’s Village Underground).

The Walthamstow native has also enlisted an impressive array of collaborators, including JADE, Melanie C, Shy girl and more!

A fevered journey through chaos and intimacy seen through the lens of a lover, “I don’t speak French” takes place over two whirlwind days in Paris. Arguably the most ambitious and cinematic singers to date, rock stars Emily in Paris’ Lucas Bravo and directed by Camille Summers Valli (HAIM, METTE).

“I’ve always been in love with Paris,” comments Gray. “The fantasy, the flirting, the late nights. I wrote this song about meeting someone in a hotel bar and not speaking the same language, but still saying everything. Camille is a dream to work with: I sent her a very chaotic mood board full of pantyhose, cinema noir, champagne and feet.”

Originally released in January, “Higher please” established Rose Gray as a defining new voice in contemporary music.

Presented as something of a love letter to ’90s rave cult and euphoric pop, the record captures Gray’s signature blend of hedonism and heart, combining pulsating club beats with deeply personal storytelling. Over tracks like “nicer than you” and “Dance to Forget”she mixes nostalgic British dance textures with fearless vulnerability, creating a sound that feels both timeless and fiercely of the moment.

Introducing her era deluxe album, Rose Gray comments: ““A little higher, please” has been such a joy to make. It’s darker, lighter, clubbier and more delicate in places… the big sister to the LP. Honestly this time last year I had no idea how the album would land: it was such a labor of love, I had so much faith in the music but felt quite let down by the industry. Fast forward a year, though, and it’s crazy — I’m playing shows, connecting with people, and everything I’ve dreamed about is actually happening. Thanks to all the icons who were part of this deluxe, and everyone who has been on this journey with me. To feel things fall into place in real time freaks me out.”
