Pop’s newest it-girls, XOmaking waves with the announcement that their debut EP, “Fashionably Late”will drop next month!
With six innovative, genre-bending tracks – including the singles “lovesick” and “real friends” (co-written with Charli XCX) — the highly anticipated project will be available to download and stream from November 14, 2025, via Polydor Label Group.
Meticulously designed to capture the full arc of a night out – from getting ready (“Rush Time”) and take responsibility (‘Candy’), to capture emotions (‘lovesick’) and end the evening with your friends (Real friends) — The EP also tells XO’s origin story, showing how the super-cool quintet has grown both emotionally and artistically since forming in 2024.
Soundly reflecting their distinct personalities – bold, raw, unapologetic and refreshingly offbeat – and lyrically shaped by their shared experiences, the EP gives fans an authentic snapshot of the lives of Emmy, Reanna, Shali, Summer and Zoe.
Take “Silly Boy”for example, a track Zoe and Shali wrote in an Uber as a defiant response to catcalling, or “ponytail”a DIY fan favorite and the first song they created together in late 2024 — an ironically titled anthem that encourages you to let your hair down. The same sense of unity and rebellion runs through “Fashionably Late” aesthetic, a playful nod to “Wannabe” which sees XO take to the streets and invite fans along for the ride.
