2025 has been a star year for the superstar It girl JADE. From winning his first solo Brit award to delivering a show-stopping performance at Glastonbury, there is no doubt that she quickly becomes one of POP’s main girls.
Jades’ journey continues today with the release of her debut solo album, It’s Showbiz Baby!, An eclectic 14-track offer that perfectly summarizes exactly who she is as an artist. After making a bold debut with ‘Angel of my dreams’, Jade Wowed fans and music lovers have far and wide with various editions such as ‘Fufn’, ‘plastic box’ and ‘Midnight cowboy’, accompanied by striking visuals. Each track has stood out in its own way and proves that you cannot predict Jades the next move. On Thursday, before the album’s release, she also revealed “unconditional”, a wonderful letter of love dedicated to her mother.
Now the album is available in its entirety, and the new editions are equally poignant, innovative and beautiful chaotic. What is clear is that Jade can produce style and substance-this is not a “cookie cutter” pop album, but an experimental work that encompasses parts of disco, RNB and synth-pop, all delivered with South Shield’s star’s brilliant song.
We all know that Jade is a pop star with a personality, and this is clear on the cheeky “lip service” where she explicitly makes it clear what she wants from her partner. However, Jade shows his vulnerability (and essential song) on track including ‘Silent Disco’, ‘Natural Disaster’ and ‘Self Saboteur’. One of the album’s highlights is “Before you break my heart”, which tries Supremes and emphasizes her soulful nature and the influence of the classics on her sound.
Total, It’s Showbiz Baby! is a truly inspired debut. Jade has already proven his chops during his time in Little Mix and her sensational driving of summer performances this year, but this album completely confirms that she deserves to be the name of everyone’s lips.
Jade celebrated the release of his album last night with an improvised performance in Angel of the North in Newcastle. She will continue the party throughout the week with a series of sold out signings in HMV stores across the country, as well as two performances at Circuit, Kingston.
Later this year, Jade is on his way out on tour of the UK and Ireland. When she started in Dublin on October 8, she will stay in places including Belfast, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Newcastle before ending in London on October 22.
