Ed Sheeran is reunited with Rupert Grint in Darkly Comedic ‘A Little More’ Video

Ed Sheeran has revived one of its most memorable music video stories, which is reunited with actor Rupert Grint for the bizarre and dark comedic “a little more”, released Thursday (August 7) with the track. The visual picks up more than a decade after Grint first portrayed Sheeran’s dangerously devoted super fan in 2011’s “Lego House”, and found the character fresh from prison but still cannot shake the singer from his life – or his imagination.

Directed by Emil Nava follows the music video Grint’s character that returns to his childhood bedroom, where Sheeran posters still cover the walls. He participates in “Stalker’s anonymous” meetings, watches old television performances and tries to rebuild his life. But Sheeran seems materialized everywhere – on signs, TV screens, even in the faces of the strangers.

Sat on the song’s tired abstinence, “I used to love you / Now every day I hate you just a little more,” The story takes a surreal turn when Rupert Grint hits a woman, suggests and prepares me to marry her. On the wedding day, every guest in the chapel changes to Ed Sheeran and flies on him from the benches. He lifts his bride’s veil and finds Sheeran stares back. The video is closed with a gag of Sheeran post -credits in a wedding dress and danced through the reception.

Ed Sheeran revealed on that the project marked its first collaboration in 14 years. “I had not worked with @Rupertgrint of 14 years ago ‘Lego House’, so did not know if he would say yes to this idea. But I’m so glad he did. It’s such a fun, Bonkers video … Rupert, my brother from another mom, thanks for throwing yourself in this, it would not exist if you said no.

“A little more” Follows Sheeran’s latest singles “Sapphire” – a Hindi and Punjabi collaboration with the iconic Bollywood singer Arijit Singh – and “Azizam” and arrive before their upcoming album PlayDue to September 12. The record marks the beginning of a new series of publishers for the Grammy winner and closed its decade long “Mathematics”-which started with “+” in 2011 and ended with “-” 2023.
