Radio 2 in the Park 2025 will go to Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex, from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 September and announced on today’s Scott Mill’s breakfast showThe Bryan Adams will the headline Saturday night and Def Leppard – With an exclusive British performance for 2025 – the heading will be Sunday evening at this year’s event.

Radio 2 in the park -The station’s annual flagship live music festival-is a three-day music jug with performances from some of the world’s biggest pop stars along with DJ sets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the station’s very loved presenters.
Listeners and viewers will be able to capture all action live throughout the weekend on radio 2, BBC sounds and iplayer.
Bryan Adams spoke after the announcement of his appearance: “This will be my first time to behave in Chelmsford, and I am really looking forward to bringing the show there. It is something exciting to play in a new place, especially somewhere filled with a Radio 2 crowd that is ready to rock.
With English Rock Legends Def Leppard added: “We have never had the privilege of performing in Chelmsford before, but everything will change? On September 7! We are very much looking forward to headlining on Sunday and also have our good friend Bryan Adams at the festival the night before. It will be a fantastic weekend … ‘In the park’. “

Tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be sold tomorrow, Wednesday 4 June, at 8.30 at bbc.co.uk/radio2inthepark (along with full conditions).?
