Approximately adds Grandissimo Survivor $ 100,000 NFL competition; Millions guaranteed | Betting

Circa Sports raises the efforts again at their NFL handicap competitions – in more ways than one.

Downtown Sports Book has not only increased the guaranteed prize money for its $ 1000-Intry Circa Survivor from $ 10 million last year to a record $ 15 million this year, but it has also added a high-roll $ 100,000-Entry Survival competition called Circa Grandissimo.

Grandissimo, which takes its name from a hotel-casino planned by Caesars Palace and Circus Circus founder Jay Sarno who never came to works, will contain the same rules as Survivor, with some remarkable exceptions.

Grandissimo has a guaranteed $ 1.5 million price for the winner, and the maximum number of items is two, compared to 10 for Survivor.

“We have always known that there is a demand for a survivor with higher efforts with less competitors in it,” said the Circa owner Derek Stevens. “Grandissimo, for me, represents a mix of Las Vegas and the biggest, the best and the most luxurious.

“I just thought it was a suitable term for the biggest football competition in history.”

In both Survivor competitions, competitors choose a straight NFL winner-no point spread every week but can use each team only once.

Survivor drew 14,266 records for record $ 14,266,000 in prize money last season, which was shared by eight winners who went 20-0 (NFL weeks 1 to 18, plus Thanksgiving/Black Friday and Christmas).

Stevens credits the five-section’s documentary “Circa Survivor: The Quest for $ 9.2 million” by helping to increase interest in the competition and expects the upcoming 10 episode’s documentary “Circa Survivor: The Quest for $ 14.2 million” to do the same.

“We think it will really help to drive us,” he said. “That’s what gave us enough confidence to say we will guarantee $ 15 million this year.”

The Survivor competition will need 15,000 entries to fulfill the guarantee, and Grandissimo will need 15. There is no rake, or house cut, in any of the competitions, and all entrance fees go into the price pool.

The $ 1,000 that the entrance Ciri Million VII where competitors make five weekly kicks against the spread during the 18-week NFL season-again will contain $ 6 million in guaranteed payments.

The environment, which needs 6,000 items to fulfill the guarantee, was briefly last year with a record 5,817 items. The winner went 60-26-4 ATS (69.8 percent) to require the price of $ 1 million for first place. Places two to 100 will be paid a total of $ 3.65 million.

There will be $ 1.2 million in quarterly prizes awarded. The last place “Booby Prize” will receive $ 100,000, and the next-to-list-site Booby Prize will receive $ 50,000. The limit for items in millions is five.

‘Good for Las Vegas’

Last year, the very popular Survivor drew more than ten times as many items as it did in 2020, when 1,390 records registered for the first competition to pay $ 1.39 million to 35 winners.

“I always expected that circa survivor would do it, but the growth rate has been really fantastic,” Stevens said. “I think the mix of the beautiful simplicity of the competition, plus the continued growth in the NFL has been fantastic.

“For me it is really fun to see this thing grow. It is obvious that it is good for our business but it is good for Las Vegas as a destination, and it makes me quite happy.”

Survivor competition can buy up to 10 additional items if they lose their original items on either Eagles-Cowboy’s NFL season opener on September 4 or the Chiefs-Chargers game in Brazil on September 5. A participant cannot enter the Saturday deadline with more than 10 active items.

Each grandissimo entry contains a luxury holiday on Circa with a three-night’s stay in a founder’s suite, tour-return JSX flight to and from Las Vegas, Limo Transport to and from the airport, dining experiences at Barry’s center Prime and Andiamo Steakhouse and more.
