The family of an Utah boy who almost drowned in a Wynn Las Vegas -Pool 2023 suits the company for negligence.
The family of 5-year-old Wyatt Stanley, whose family includes Joseph III, Kelseigh, Joseph IV and Jane, submitted four accounting rights Tuesday in Clark County District Court.
Wyatt Stanley was 3 when his father, Joseph III, saved him from the bottom of the Encore pool and was revived by a doctor and a National Football League trainer who happened to relax at the pool at the same time.
Representatives of Wynn Resorts Ltd. said they are happy that the child is doing well.
“Once we have earned, we look forward to responding to the court action and presenting a complete aeration of the actual facts,” the company said in a statement.
According to the lawsuit on May 27, 2023 – during the Memorial Day weekend – Stanley’s gathered at Encore pool to swim and have lunch. About 12:44, Wyatt Stanley entered the pool from the stairs at the shallow end of the pool. Several minutes later, his father warned that Wyatt was underwater at the bottom of the pool. His father pulled him off the water and placed him on the pool deck.
“Many individuals in the vicinity, including a holiday doctor and a professional football coach, began to provide help and life -saving measures and CPR on Wyatt after the defendant’s employees were incapable and/or failed to do so,” says the mood.
When Wyatt was resumed, Wyatt was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital’s pediatric center and was later released.
The doctor who provided help was Andrew Oleksyn, an emergency room doctor from Dekalb, Illinois and Atlanta Falcon’s head coach Raheem Morris, who at that time was defensive coordinator for Los Angeles Rams. Two weeks before the incident at Wynn, Morris had received special training in CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator that NFL recommended after Buffalo Bill’s security ladies Hamlin got cardiac arrest during a football match on Monday night against Cincinnati Bengals on January 2, 2023. Morris got AED from Wynn.
Days after the Wynn incident, Morris, Oleks vision and the entire Stanley family reunited and appeared on national broadcast “Good Morning America.”
“It’s really a miracle when I try to hit my mind around everything that happened,” said Kelseigh Stanley, Wyatt’s mother, in the broadcast.
The atmosphere accuses Wynn of gross negligence, negligent employment, education and monitoring and negligent supply of emotional distress.
The atmosphere seeks a trial and general, compensatory, special and punitive damage of over $ 15,000 and legal fees.
